Autoterm Flow 5D (water heater) compatibility with VanPi?

Hello everyone!

I’m planning to install an Autoterm Flow 5D (diesel water heater, formerly Binar 5S) in my camper van and would like to control it via VanPi.

I’ve seen that VanPi supports Autoterm Air 2D and 4D heaters. Since the Flow 5D uses the same serial protocol (UART 5V TTL, 19200 baud, 8N1), I believe it should work with the existing Autoterm integration.

Has anyone successfully connected an Autoterm Flow 5D (or Binar 5S) water heater to VanPi?

Technical details:

- Autoterm Flow 5D 12V Diesel

- Same communication protocol as Air 2D/4D

- Planning to use USB-FTDI adapter

Any feedback or experience would be greatly appreciated!
